Wildly original international storyteller Minton Sparks, featuring former Bob Dylan/Lucinda Williams guitarist, John Jackson, treasured South Carolina singer songwriter, Danielle Howle, and Community Innovator & Documentarian, Becca Finley are on a US quest to engage, capture, create, and distribute the unimaginable power of stories & inspiration to communities. Only through conscious, meaningful, and intentional choices in our mind, body, and soul, can we hope to make real change in our world.
Artists change and elevate the world daily. We are taking storytelling, music, & film on the road.
We need your help to create a show. Yes, you curate the set list! We'll have a chance to dive into conversation after the event.
This is a co-created event, so as soon as someone purchases a ticket, we get in contact with them via phone or email to see what topics and issues are weighing on their hearts/ minds, both personally, and within the community. Then the entire evening - food, drink, music, storytelling, filming is built around the audience's needs.
Our focus is to ELEVATE and EMPOWER through listening, co-creating, performing, and talking. Venues will range from houses to clubs, museums to prisons, gardens to performance halls. Every experience will be unique to its community.
After the tour is complete, we will present this work in film form, to the rest of you who may not be able to join us on the road.

Who is involved in this?
This tour capitalizes on the collaborative strengths of innovative women artists: a spoken word artist, a singer/songwriter, and a documentarian. And then features our chef, venues, and other performer friends who care about their communities along the way.
Why are y'all doing this?
We tend to discount folks we don't know. This project creates a vessel for getting to know each other in a safe, potent for change container. Our country is disconnected. We grow when we connect. We explicitly seek to create an avenue for feeling, thought, conversation, growth, and community.
The change makers in the world are ARTS-FOCUSED. We believe one of the best ways for healing and growth is through words, music, film, and conversation.
What exactly is it?
A unique co-created event featuring music, storytelling, film, food, and conversation.
20 cities, 20 different experiences. Live Studio Audience for Filmed Taping. All curated with the audience in mind. And with the intention, that after the show, people will continue to talk, and be inspired to impact their communities.
Venues will range from houses to museums, concert halls to prisons. Attendance will range from 20-200, keeping the audience manageable and intimate.
What can I expect to experience when I arrive at a show?
The basic format will differ, but all shows will feature conversation starting activities pre-show, along with a reception involving art/ food/ conversation, geared toward the specific community, performances (including a local opener), a moderated Q&A with the artists.
We will let you know if you need to bring a chair!
